The Bridge of Hope Recovery Houses offer safe, staffed, sober housing for women who are committed to embarking on a new way of life without the use of drugs and alcohol. New residents will be asked for a three-month commitment to live at The Bridge of Hope Recovery Houses with longer stays negotiated on an individual basis.

The "Bridge of Hope" Mission:

To empower men and women through hope across The Bridge of Recovery - Creating a safe and supportive home for men and women recovering from addiction.

Bridge of Hope
Vision & Philosophy

Our Vision: A world where men and women can step into their God-given purposes and live free of self-defeating behaviors. From what their lives once were to where their lives can be.

"Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creation; old things are passed away;

behold, all things are become new." 2 Corinthians 5:17 KJV

Our Philosophy: We believe addiction is a physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual disorder. We believe recovery from addiction is an individually designed lifelong process best addressed holistically. We believe anyone who practices a recognized program of recovery with honesty, openness, and willingness can get and remain clean and sober. Our philosophy is rooted in the need to build a firm foundation to assist in maintaining sobriety.

Anchored in the parable of the Wise and Foolish Builders (Matthew 7:24-27) women are encouraged to recognize that proper foundations are necessary when building their new lives. With a literal house, it is unwise to build on sand because the foundation will be unsteady and the house will eventually suffer some kind of damage. This will waste resources and all the time and work in building the house. In contrast, it is wise to build one’s house on a sure foundation; anchoring in bedrock makes a building withstand the storms. Women are encouraged to build their lives on the teaching of Jesus Christ in learning to balance work, recovery, relationships, and financial responsibility.
